January 8 Prayer Requests

I ask God to bless the following situations and pour His grace and mercy onto those I pray for:

• Friend Matt and his family on the death of their mother who was killed walking to church on Christmas Eve.
• Friend Karen who is having difficulties in her pregnancy, may God provide her and her baby with good health and a full term pregnancy. May Karen hold her little one in her arms on or close to her due date and praise God for this wondrous miracle.
• Friend Corrine who is battling bone cancer.
• Daughter Alex who is battling a chronic medical condition, may God bless her with a holy healing.
• For the students at the school I am substitute nursing at, that God will bless them, provide them with good health, bless them and pour His love and grace over the entire campus.
• For the students and staff at the local high school. Nurse Pat there is such a wonderful Christian lady who has been given a gift that God is leading her to the high school to help bring Christ's love to the high school. May God's love, mercy and grace pour down abundantly upon all the schools, but especially this high school.
• For my hubby who is sick. May God provide Him with healing.
• I am not feeling well, I ask God to take away my sore throat and sore ears.
• Both daughters are traveling 1 1/2 hours from home to go to the youngest daughter's neurologist appointment, travel mercies and also wisdom for the doctor.
• God bless and keep our president-elect as he is set to assume office. I ask God's blessings upon the new administration and upon our ailing country.
• May God bless my employer to not just survive, but thrive in this economy. May our class sizes increase and may my class that starts on Monday receive at least 3 more students.
  
• Blessings upon the class that is getting ready to graduate, one is already employed and we are thanking God for that blessings upon Carol. May each of the other students find employment after they complete their schooling and do excellent work for their employers.
• I pray for my church, that God's Holy Spirit will fill the church, the members' hearts and lives and may we all be alive in our faith, reaching out to others and living a Christ-like and Christ-filled life.
• To God be the glory, great things He hath done!
